  1. White bread - when you chewed it, the sugar on carbohydrate on it will break down. It will make white bread become acidic. When it mixed with saliva, it become sticky, and easily gets stuck on your teeth. White bread tastes better than wheat bread. But it worse for your teeth.
  2. Potato chips – potato chips has a thin structure. When you bite it, it cracks into sharp edge pieces which can harm your gum. It also starchy, it can stick on your teeth and crevice.
  3. Ice – cracking ice is a common habit. But cracking ice can cause tiny crack on your teeth. When you often to crack the ice, the tiny crack on your teeth can grow and cause serious problem.
  4.  Popcorn – popcorn made from corn that remains the husk in the middle of it. The husk will stay at your teeth surface. The worse scenario is the husk will stick on your crevice. If you don’t brush your teeth properly, it will cause teeth damage.
  5. Soda and carbonated drinks – they contain huge amount of sugar. Those drinks also contain citric and phosphoric, which can cause erosion on your tooth enamel. To reduce the effect, use the straw. Straw can reduce the amount of sugar and acid.
  6. Sweets – caramel, will stick hardly on your teeth surface and crevice. If your teeth have crack or holes, caramel will make it worse. Hard candy and lollipop, of course contain a lot of sugar. They design too long lasting in your mouth. Means lots of sugar will stick in your teeth.
  7. High acid foods and drinks – citrus fruits like lemonade and acid drinks is not too good for your teeth. The acid will make your teeth enamel down. It is the cause of some pain feel in your teeth. Try washing your mouth with water after eating acid foods and drinks.
  8. Vitamin water and chew candy – actually, it is not contain much vitamin. Vitamin water contains the same amount of sugar as candy bar. It is also contain acid. Chewing vitamin also contain sugar. And like caramel, will stick hardly on your teeth surface and crevice.
  9. Dried fruits – dried fruits like raisins and peaches are actually danger than candy. Grape and peaches contain a lot of sugar in their fluid. When it dried, the sugar will be high concentrated. Dry fruits are usually packed with non-soluble cellulose fiber. It can allow them to trap the sugars on and around the teeth.  Their gummy texture also possible to stick on teeth like a caramel.
  10. Substances that dry on mouth - they are like medicine and alcohol. It is important to keep your mouth wet. Wet mouth and gum prevent bacteria that can cause infection. If you are in medication, use fluoride rinse to help brush your teeth.
