Foods that Cause Acne

There are some causes of acne on your face. Some food apparently have undirected connection with acne that shown on your face. Acne is cause by blood sugar problem, stress or inflammation on your skin tissue. With directly cut off certain food that can cause acne, it doesn’t mean that the problem solves. You also need to take care of your skin cleanness and your stress level.

Foods that Cause Acne

There are some product and food that can cause acne:
  1. Meat – before the animal is died, they produce testosterone in their body. The hormone you consume with the meat is being process in your body an increase sebum production. Too much sebum on your skin tissue can cause inflammation. Then this process end up with acne on your face. Some animal also being injected with some growth hormone. Some research said that this growth hormone can cause acne. Try to not eating meat for a long time. Or you can consume local vegetarian animal for avoiding injecting hormone.
  2. Dairy product – milk, cheese, and yogurt could be the cause of your problem. Milk produce by cow which have several hormones. This hormones work in your body. Then it caused your hormone become not balance and cause acne. Cow’s milk also contains DHT substance that can increase the production of sebum. Too much sebum on your skin known as the cause of acne. Some dairy product also high of sugar. High sugar means high blood sugar level. High blood sugar level can cause over production of sebum and testosterone, which can cause acne.
  3. High sugar foods and drinks – average American people consume 125 pounds of table sugar every year. That a high number for sugar consumption. Sugar is not too god for your body. It can ruin your immune system, loss of skin tissue elasticity and depression. Those three things cause high blood sugar, dull skin stress. So it is clear that sugar absolutely can cause acne on your face. Try to control your consumption of candy, soda, and ice cream. High blood sugar level can also lead you to other serious health problem like diabetes and digestion problem.
  4. Foods with high iodine level – iodine actually can give a lot of benefits to our body. But you have to look after the portion. Iodine can be found in several industrial salts and fast food menu. It also found at egg yolk, seafood, and spinach. Iodine can stimulate the over production on your hormone. Some case found that people which consume too much iodized sugar have a thyroid problem. The thyroid will produce too much hormone. For you who don’t want to have acne, avoid iodized food. Try to use salt from the sea and don’t consume too much egg yolk, seafood and spinach. Something that too much isn’t good for you.
  5. Caffeine – research said that coffee can cause acne. Other drinks like tea and energy drinks also have a chance for creating acne. Caffeine creates acne with two ways. Caffeine stimulates the testosterone level. The testosterone level will highly flight up and cause high level of sebum too. Then acne comes to your skin. And the caffeine character makes you awake all night long. It make your body cannot regenerate. It can make your body stress and cause acne
